Oroville-Tonasket Irrigation District (the “District”) is seeking to hire a Field Operator.  This position reports to the Manager. The responsibilities generally include pipe repair, pump repair, general grounds work and some equipment operation. This position works out of the District’s office in Oroville, WA.

The Operators required skills, abilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Valid Driver’s License with insurable Motor Vehicle record
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to lift 30
  • Minimum High school diploma or GED

The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District (ECBID) is accepting applications for a Project Engineer.

Working under the supervision of the District Engineer, the incumbent provides support for operation and maintenance activities for irrigation and drainage facilities, District properties, buildings and equipment. Duties include planning, design, inspection, cost estimating, tracking, coordination, scheduling, and construction management for pumps, pipelines, canal/drain maintenance, canal/drain modernization, delivery structures, and appurtenant facilities and equipment. Incumbent shall assist with engineering and construction surveys.

The incumbent must possess a bachelor degree in agricultural engineering, civil engineering or a related engineering discipline. 5 years of engineering and project management experience required. PE highly desirable.
