In April of this year, a coalition of farmers and farm organizations ran a national ad in the Wall Street Journal to educate consumers about the importance of U.S. agriculture to the nation’s food supply. In the face of severe Western drought and global supply chain issues, it was part of an ongoing campaign to influence agricultural water infrastructure policy.
