Primary CBP crops include hay, potatoes, corn, wheat, beans, orchard fruits, grapes, herbs, onions, grass seed, and vegetables with an estimated value of $3,800 per acre, annually. An additional $2.66 billion of animal and food processing production specifically tied to CBP crops is annually generated, with over $6 billion in overall animal and food processing production value. The CBP supports over 40,000 area jobs with nearly $2.33 billion in annual income, and 90% of total area jobs and income are related to crop production or food processing.
